Mothers in Bloom is a vibrant virtual community space designed for new mothers navigating the journey of matrescence—the huge identity shift that occurs when entering motherhood, akin to that of adolescence. The community offers opportunities to explore the multilayered, nonlinear, years-long (and maybe never-ending?) spiritual journey of becoming a mother through a mix of story-telling, educational content, workshops, and casual gatherings. 

There is an emphasis on claiming agency over one’s unique energy to help lay a foundation of self-knowledge during the tumultuous season of birth, postpartum, and early motherhood. In today’s disconnected, overstimulating society hyper saturated with conflicting information, anchoring in our own intuition and spiritual wisdom is imperative. 

Matrescence is a forgotten rite of passage ripe with opportunities to expand, heal, and create. My hope is that this community space will offer not only a reclamation of self, but a soft place to land for women undergoing one of the biggest transitions in their life.
